Central Kalimantan Peatlands Project ?
Central Kalimantan Peatlands Project (CKPP) was the continuous project of the management of the peat land in Central Kalimantan that was carried out for the period in July 2006 up to June 2008. The activity was carried out by a consortium that consist of: the Foundation of the BOSS of the Orang-utan, CARE International Indonesia, the University Palangka Great (UNPAR), Wetlands International - Indonesian Programme and WWF Indonesia.Pemerintah the Area of the Central Kalimantan Province played a role as the Team of the Co-ordination of the Province of the Level Program (TKPTP). The main aim of this project was to be to carry out conservation and to give economic added value to the tropical peat land available in the area of the A Eks PLG Bloc and the Taman Nasional Se- Bangau Region, as well as his buffer zones in Central Kalimantan.
